Nightlife in Skiathos consists of plenty of variety, appealing to all age groups and tastes.


Generally speaking Greek nightlife is hard to beat. Whether it be discos, bars and clubs, or quiet sidewalks cafes and tavernas that you're looking for, you will be spoilt for choice with most venues remaining open until the early hours for your night time enjoyment.

Start your evening perhaps with a meal then, if the mood takes you, you can head on out to boogie the night away.

The main hubbub of entertainment is concentrated of course in the town of Skiathos. However, don't feel that you are limited to the town, as there is an array of tavernas, restaurants, around other areas of the Island, there's so much more out there.

A string of bars are located in the main part of the town... locally known as Bar Street... and a fantastic choice of clubs are to be found on the strip towards the eastern side of the port.

Be careful though! - It is easy to over indulge, measures are larger than we are used to in the U.K., (our benefit I would say) and prices also tend to be lower. So please don't spoil any aspects of your holiday with over indulgence!
